Garden care
The garden should be designed with children in mind from the very beginning – from the width of the garden beds to a dedicated hand-washing area. You will also find information on where to get organic seeds and seedlings and how to identify them.
Setting up the garden
The first step towards creating a garden is planning. Learn the basics of ecological gardening, permaculture principles, and garden zoning, as well as how to build an insect hotel. The section also includes garden plans for three institutions.
Using the garden for teaching
From mathematics and physics to music and physical education: practical examples of how to incorporate the garden into lessons, along with project outlines (herbs, compost, rainwater, and fruit gardens).
